I wondered about this at the time. It did surprise and disappoint me that troops were cheering for him and applauding him, trying to touch him and take pictures of him. Now it all makes sense.

But did you read the article. The contention is that there is a report from boots on the ground that Obama voters were pushed to the front of the line and given digital cameras as props.
Look at the photo and find one camera which is unique. They all appear to be the same model. What are the odds? Is there only one style of camera available at the PX? Did NOBODY bring a camera from home? Looks like a staged event to me.

I keep thinking about the movie, “The Running Man” and how they create an event to hide the truth, the promises given to the runners, the show, the ratings.

With the quality of CGI nowadays just imagine what could be done in the event that the government needs to really whitewash a situation. Or bolster public opinion.

All you keep showing is your ignorance of the military.
Blacks are very much under represented in combat units they are mostly in support or REMFs as you call them.
Now look at the chart in post 12 and you would see why a knowledgeable person would take note of the high number of blacks around him for this staged event.

By the way I think you are wrong about the cameras, it ws my experience that if anything you could buy at the PX all sorts of cameras you could not get anywhere else.
OMG. This makes perfect sense considering how embarrassed Obama must have been at the lack of welcome they had previously given him.

Special Operations has less than 2% blacks, and that is true for every Special Operations unit in every branch of the military (remember Black Hawk Down).
The San Diego Union did a three part, front page story on that.
