Did Microsoft fire all the good programmers after WinXPPro and office 2003???

The problems routinely are . . . particularly associated with OFFICE 2007 WORD:

After 15-30 min of use—seems to be the only reliable trigger . . .

if I try to open a new doc or save a doc . . .

—The window to install/configure pops up.
—the window that should list the folders to save in is blank
—Copy and paste doesn’t work until I close Word and restart Word.

REAL annoying.

And tech support has been of no use so far after several hours on the phone with them; reinstalling the whole thing etc. etc. etc.
