President Obama to Sign Executive Order on Stem Cell Research Monday

ABC News has learned that on Monday morning President Obama will hold an event at the White House in which he signs an executive order overturning the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research.
The announcement will be about "restoring scientific integrity to health care policy," an administration official tells ABC News.
In August 2001, President George W. Bush signed an executive order banning federal funding on embryonic stem cell research except for a few dozen lines that were grandfathered in. The White House at the time estimated scientists would have more than 60 cell lines to use, but ultimately fewer than two dozen lines were usable.
Twice during his presidency, Mr. Bush vetoed efforts to overturn his ban.

It won't be very long before everyone realizes that he really does NOT know how to be a president. He's just a lowly community organizer who got lucky.
See, I struggle with this issue and your responses. My mother has multiple sclerosis and this research holds a lot of hope for people like her.

The mania for using embryonic stem cells is not based on science, but on a contempt for human life and a desire to benefit the strong at the expense of the weak and helpless--an attitude which I frankly consider to be of Satanic inspiration, just like abortion.

I FULLY agree. He should NOT have the power subvert the will of the people of this CHRISTIAN nation with a flick of his cheap Bic pen. He is not a president interested in doing God’s will - but now he’s arrogantly signing away the will of the people as well.
Sorry, but this is the stuff of Nazi Doctors, not compassionate Americans. Besides, there is absolutely no proof that doing this "research" will cure anything. Adult Stem Cells are making wonderful advances. Embryonic Stem Cell Research is nothing more than funding overpaid "scientists" with wasted tax dollars.
