The Top 10 quotes of 2008, as compiled by the editor of the Yale Book of Quotations:

don’t taze me bro!!
Yale, and the Daily News, are both asses.
The only negative quotes are from Republicans. None from Democrats.
> 2. “All of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.” Palin, responding to a request by CBS anchor Katie Couric to name the newspapers or magazines she reads, broadcast Oct. 1.
Suggested answer for next time, respectfully submitted by DieHard the Hunter:
“I don’t read newspapers or magazines anymore, Katie. I get all of the news plus unbiased commentary and analysis online at www.freerepublic.com”.
Number one quote of the year from a Saturday Night Live comedienne misquoting a VP candidate. That’s the best Yale can do? If I was a student from Yale, I would request a refund.
The MSM spent months looking for dirt on Sarah Palin, they couldn’t find any, so they just flat-out invented stuff she never did or say.
Meanwhile, they censored any and all stupid remarks and actions (and there were plenty) from the Obama/Biden camp, as well as refused to investigate ties to Blago, Rezko, Wright, Odinga, Ayers, COLB, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, etc...
I hope the MSM goes broke and these DNC cheerleaders masquerading as journalists have to find real jobs instead of being shills for Dem candidates.
Why cant I just eat my waffle?
For those of you who missed it: Obama's stupidity on display
“That’s above my pay grade” - our President Elect.
This one really gets me. A typical liberal/utopian idiot. What is he going to do? Go around to each house and make sure all kids get to the hospital for preventative health care? I think he needs an “inhalator.”

Not only that, but where was the MSM?
In Alaska digging thru the Palin family trash cans?
This is what irks me the most - they tried to dig up dirt on Palin. They failed, so they invented stuff about her.
Meanwhile, BO gets a free pass by the same MSM on Odinga, Ayers, Rezco, Wright, Fannie, Freddie, etc...

Three letters, J-O-B-S.
Hm - wonder if the press will tear Biden apart like they did Quayle.
A fabricated political quote that was taken by the electorate as established FACT was the top quote.
Makes sense, "fake but accurate" reporting by the drive by media in an election year. Anything to win, eh Stalinists?
Well, uh, you know, I think that whether youre looking at it from a theological perspective or, uh, a scientific perspective, uh, answering that question with specificity, uh, you know, is, is, uh, above my pay grade. - Sen. Barack Obama, on When does a baby get human rights?
Can you be "a little bit pregnant"? There is your answer.
Yes - complete with “uhs” and “you knows.”
What a political answer - not wanting to offend anyone. Little did he know that liberals will vote for anyone with a “D” behind his name.
9) "Let's not play games. I was suggesting - you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith."
8) Barack Obama: "Well, you know, I think that whether you're looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade."
7) "...I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment -- this was the time -- when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals."
6) "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
5) "The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person..."
4) "Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go."
3) "I can no more disown (Jeremiah Wright) than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother - a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe."
2) "You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a (flag) pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest..."
1) "You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
It wasn’t even delivery or breathing air under the power of his/her own lungs that was good enough for Barack Obama to admit that it is “alive” and an individual.
He fought against legislation to protect babies that survived abortion. He stood on the side of hospitals that put such infants into a closet to DIE from any care or attention.
If a mother did that, it would be called abandonment and child abuse.
But Barack didn’t want to call that a “child” so that it would not be willful neglect or murder.
He supports infanticide.
They called LBJ a “baby killer” but Barack Hussein Obama killed babies for real.
