The downfall of Soviet Communism took 70 years, but "Chinese Democracy" appears to be in jeopardy after just two weeks. The Guns N' Roses album that was 17 years in the making climbed only as high as No. 3 when it debuted on the national sales chart. It has tumbled to No. 18 in its second week of release.

The only importance I can think of is to start a poll on the Top Ten OverRated Bands of All Time. Guns n Roses is definitely in the top 5!

Do you mean among ALL bands, or just among "hip-hop" bands - or do I mean "rap" bands? Darn it! I've heard the name, but I honestly couldn't tell you the name of even one of their band members! Are they British?

Considering the pedigree, the expense, and the hype, opening at #3 and then dropping into the teens is an utter disaster.
Secondly as far as the sales of Rock is concerned too many bands in this decade are trying to be Pseudo-Sixties Revolutionists by going on about the the evils of the war but what they don't understand is the majority of the nation understands that terrorism is a real threat and it could happen again since 9/11 so they are not getting the traction they thought they would get out of it.

The opener is lame but the rest of the song is edgy and current. I can see why China hates it

Hey there are a couple of good cuts but over all it is listenable but not something that I can't wait to sit down and work out the riffs too thou. If this is the best Axl and whoever he has in there now that they can come up with after thirteen years...hhmmm they could have waited a few more.
LOL you can now get it with 4 extra tracks so be sure to rush out and get it before they all go during the holidays sales events.
