I remember the Dancing Chicken! Back in the late 60s The Steel Pier in Atlantic City had The Dancing Chicken,The Chicken that played baseball and the Kissing Bunny. Just 10 cents apiece for such enthralling entertainment.

They had one of those in White's City, New Mexico at the little cafe. White's City is the unofficial entrance to Carlsbad Caverns.
They also used to have - maybe still do - a rickety little aerial tram to take you up a hill to some (what turned out to be very poor fakes) "Indian Ruins".

I remember the Dancing Chicken! Back in the late 60sSome guy, Elvis' manager I think, used to promote "Colonel so-and-so's Dancing Chickens". What he did is spinkle some hay on an electric hot plate and then put the poor chicken on it.

They used to have flea circuses in New York City. My dad tells me that the fleas are trained by walking them through a straw (they don't "jump" so much).

About the only advice I have in vaudeville is don't let the dog act FOLLOW the flea act.
