In any other time period, even as recent as 2000, Obama would have never gotten beyond declaring his presidential bid. Can you imagine a Republican running for President after just four years removed from a state legislature? Being in cahoots with criminals and shady characters? Questions surronding his birth, past drug usage, and possible bisexuality? My God, have Americans completely gone bat-s--t insane that they'll vote for a guy like Obama and put style over substance?
If the court rules that Obama is a natural born citizen, then what incentive does that make me as a law-abiding citizen? Here's the thing. Crime is going to skyrocket in this country the moment Obama becomes President, and it's not going to be from urban minorities who are going to feel emboldened because they believe they can get away with anything now that Obama is in office. It's going to come from middle-class whites too. They won't commit crimes brazenly or be up front about it - it'll be the equivalent of what the colonists did, like a "screw this s--t" attitude. It'll be a breakdown of society's mores. Obama won't unite anyone.

That is probably a safe bet. The Republican campaign did not seem energized or hard-hitting, with the exception of the Palin selection. We were clearly out-played and the campaign could very well have been compromised.
Ranking Democrats have access to sensitive government records (particularly Hillary with her FBI files) just as do the Republicans. There was some dirt on McCain regarding his days in N Vietnam that I expected to come out again. The fact the dirt did not come out again suggests O handlers believed McCain was behaving properly.
The RNC needs to gain a working knowledge of Alinsky’s writings. Those writings will remind you of all the recent campaigns beginning with the first Clinton campaign.
It looks like wow_really?? is just a nasty troll that signed up today for the sole purpose of posting stinking tripe from that paragon of journalistic integrity that tried to pass off Dan Rather’s droppings as evidence of President Bush’s lack of qualifications for the office.

It does take time for people to get up to speed on Certifigate, so for now I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, I encourage people to examine that birth certificate, and to notice what it is missing.

There has never been a need for “vetting” a presidential candidate.
Previous candidates in the Democratic and Republican parties were ***clearly** natural born citizens. They had families, relatives, friends, and neighbors that were active parts of the candidates’ lives and could readily testify that the candidate was born in the U.S. These candidates had a **long** and visible history of being born here and living here.
Geeze! I am 62 years old and there are still plenty of people in my life that could testify that I was born in Philadelphia and even name the doctor and hospital. They attended my Christening and First Holy Communion and can name the church and some probably have photos.
So?....Where is Obama’s history? His family? Neighbors? His baby pictures?
If there isn't a vetting process it is because one was never needed until now. Geeze! Do we depend upon our Founding Fathers to outline a vetting process? Ultimately our nation's experiment in freedom depends upon the good will of honest people. It is impossible to write enough laws sufficiently detailed to corral people of evil intentions. If having every aspect of our experiment in self-rule depends upon lawyers rather than an honest heart, then our nation is in **serious** trouble!
By the way, a person of good will would have produced a $10 long form birth certificate and made other documents concerning his adoption ( etc.) available for review. That Obama hasn't is highly suspicious.
But it's OK, because he's black. That means black people are so impatient for a black president that anyone will do, and it means that white people will have lowered their standards for what they would expect from a president because they are afraid to question anyone black due to fear of being called racist. Plus, the cool people say Barack is cool.
It is NOT a certificate, it is a CERTIFICATION, two very different things!!!
