The Justification for Lying, Part III Economic Meltdown
Robert Ringer: A Voice of Sanity in an Insane World ^ | NA | Robert J. Ringer

There are a number of reasons why I don't believe Barack Obama will use the boil-the-frog-slowly approach when it comes to moving his Marxist agenda forward in the midst of this economic meltdown.

First, he will have the Pelosi-Reid gang pushing him to take action.

Second, he will have millions of welfare addicts — pitchforks in hand — looking to him to deliver on his promises. (Perhaps you've seen the video of the gal who said she's excited now that Obama has been elected, because she will no longer have to worry about paying her mortgage or filling her gas tank.)

Third is the ultimate wild card — Rev. Wright. He's already come out of hiding, but what does he want? What will he say in the months ahead? Will he expose Obama as a fraud with whom he had scores of revolutionary talks over the years? If I were Obama, I would be very nervous about the intentions of the good reverend.

But the fourth, and greatest, reason I believe Obama will choose to move fast is the pressure of knowing that even the best of presidents usually face a big upheaval (via mid-term Congressional elections) two years after they take office. And if there is a significant power shift in the House and Senate, Obama could miss his chance to ram his socialist medicine down the throats of giddy Americans who are still fluttering their eyelashes skyward at the mere mention of his name.

"If we can make it to 2012 and actually be able to hold free and fair elections, I would think that the economic realities of a spread-the-wealth, bail-everyone-out policy would likely result in Obama and his Congressional mischief-making allies being put out to pasture for a long time."

Which is why I'm convinced Obama and the RAT Congress won't waste any time trying to change the rules so "free and fair elections" will mean ones where only they win.

Unless he produces a valid birth certificate, everything he does may well usurp the Constitution.

Obama is taking it nice and easy now, to keep things calm, compared to what he will do after inauguration. Both Hitler and Lenin moved with lightning swiftness to consolidate their grip on the forces of government, and the rest was history.

I see no reason to believe Obama will delay his agenda or waste his time on gradualism. Expect a severe crisis this year, as Biden told us, and be ready for structural change. A year from now the US gov will look very different.

I feel this is becoming less and less likely, and I don't feel I'm alone. CNN aired a piece where the first 2100 voter registrations in Lake County (IN) out of 2100 submitted by Acorn are fraudulent. Each such incident lowers belief in the system. Eventually, you get to the point where someone says enough and the system is taken over by some other force. Local gov'ts better clean this up in a hurry or people are going to start taking things into their own hands.

The advantage to Obama is to act swiftly and overwhelmingly. MSM are too dumb to realize what is going on as are our Congressmen, those who genuinely want to preserve our Republic.

I don’t think Obama, if he goes dictator, will be able to control all fifty states, especially if he moves fast. I’m fairly certain that there will be states and cities that will resist.

The real threat is if we have a Reichstag fire that allows Obama to put through legislation that wouldn’t otherwise be supported. The Civilian National Security Force(CNSF) would make sense to too many people at that point.

The 911 truthers for example are a goldmine in that sense. Around 40% of Democrats believe 911 was an inside job. Arrest Bush, Hillary and others as part of an investigation into this and he would have accomplished a great deal of what a dictator would need. Hillary and other Democrats would give him non-partisan cover and remove a rival. Whatever general he needed removed could be, Senators, etc. It would also give a good excuse to distance America from Israel.

It would not necessarily be invalid. If the president does not sign a bill and does not veto it it still becomes law. But any vetoes will be invalid. The pocket veto would still be valid.

Fifth, since the Bush admin. is spending trillions, Obama will argue that Bush gave bailout money to “fat cats” and swindlers, it’s only fair that he gets to spend a bunch too. It’s amazing how Bush, perhaps unintentionally (but the fact that he stopped ICE arrests for 3 days to protect Obama’s illegal aunt makes me wonder), cleared a path for Obama.
