Obama already has excuse for not cutting taxes, and nobody is talking about it!

Posted on 10/19/2008 2:32:37 PM PDT by Safrguns

Here is my prediction... shortly after the election (if Obama wins), the democrats will publish numbers showing a dramatic deficit of projected federal revenues as the result of the current economic crisis. They will declare that Obama's promise to cut taxes for 95% of Americans simply will not be possible because too many tax payers will be reporting losses or significantly reduced income. They will cover for Barry by placing the blame again on Bush's failed policies, and request that the new president submit a revised proposal in light of the new projections of federal revenue.

Why is it that we have seen virtually no discussion of the impact of this economic crisis on federal revenues in 2009??? Am I missing something here? We see California on the verge of bankruptcy and asking for bail outs, and other states that are struggling as well. What happens to the messiah's plans when the federal government reaches in its pockets and pulls out donkey ears??? Why hasn't the McCain camp talked about this? What insulates the federal government from feeling the effects of this crisis??? As always, tax plans proposed by candidates are based on past performance. When is someone going to realize this is no longer the case???

If you question “The One”, you will be vetted out by the press. Obama silences his opposition through threats and intimidation.

This country is in deep trouble right now. Anyone expecting a tax cut is a gullible moron. That includes “the poor.” The gubmint has ways of getting your money WITHOUT calling it a tax.

Of course this will happen and his “followers” will go along. He’ll say “I didn’t have the figures until I was sworn in and now I see it’s much worse than I was lead to believe by the Bus administration.”

Has anyone run the numbers on this???
How big with the shortfall to federal revenue be?
I have no idea, but I get the feeling that completely eliminating the military budget would hardly scratch the surface. Dont forget the number of trillions the market lost this last month, and the added projected interest on the additional debt for the bailouts. Looks like federal bankruptcy to me folks.

Neal Cavuto on Fox Business has pressed several dem shills on his show about this- the last one I saw was Janet Napolitano (what a repulsive woman)

She indicated the democrats will give a rapid $300 BILLION “stimulus” to the “bottom” of the economy, expand food stanmps and unemployment, buld roads and bridges, let people pull money out of their IRA’s, and will swiftly move to pull US troops ot of Iraq...

thus paying for Obama’s trillion dollars in new spending

I have a hard time sleeping knowing people this stupid are ruling anywhere, much less maybe soon over Washinton

Bill Clinton just chose to lie: “I worked as hard as I could but I can’t find a tax cut”, just three weeks after taking office.

It is the plan of the Obaminimites to enslave America again, for payback. This time, it is the hard working citizens of the US that will become serfs.

Well, first off the Bush tax cuts will expire... that won’t be “his fault”. Then, he’ll blame Bush’s 8 failed years for needing even more increases. Simple really.

yes, bankruptcy

Not a chance. They will try to sell bonds, no one will buy--so they will just print more money and we will get hyperinflation.

>>>Bill Clinton just chose to lie: “I worked as hard as I could but I can’t find a tax cut”, just three weeks after taking office.

Bill Clinton was facing an economic situation that is completely opposite to this one. He inherited an economy that was actually growing... not going bankrupt.
He could rely on relatively stable numbers based on past performance.... and yes, lied about his ability to propose tax cuts. Obama knows darn well what we are headed for, and intends to compound it!

An Obama spokesperson, asked about tax increases on everyone if they let the Bush tax cuts expire, indicated that would be part of their plan —— to “ correct the Bush mistakes”

These people are Orwellian

That was already done by Clinton in 92, so it won’t be the first time.

>>>Not a chance. They will try to sell bonds, no one will buy—so they will just print more money and we will get hyperinflation.

And what happens to nations that hyperinflate their currency?
We will all be exchanging Euros before we know it.
Oh... and who benefits the most from inflation???
Those who are deepest in debt.
Who is deepest in debt?
Those who caused the economic crisis in the first place.

Obama’s hidden agenda is already in play, and well past the turning point if he wins.

McCain proposed an across the board spending freeze.
Even that won’t dent the surface if California is any indication of what we are in for.

Riddle me this: what do you call a tax-cut for people who pay no taxes (40% of adults)?

An IOU from the government that will never get paid.
