I saw some youtube videos on the following:
Kay Bailey Hutchison - i hope its not her, she can make you fall asleep - boring....
Palin - She looks as though she can hold her own - she presents herself pretty well.
Cantor - He can be pretty aggressive...he can hold his own
To: GOPinCa
Current odds:
Romney: 2-1
Hutchison: 3-1
Pawlenty: 3-1
Ridge: 5-1
Palin: 7-1
The Field: 5-1
Place yer bets.

Jsut saw that posted on Drudge. Was checking one last time before I go to bed. Of course, I had to drop by and see what the immediate buzz is on FR.

http://www.intrade.com has Hutchison up by 31 points. Romney just took a dive of 33 points. So I guess we will see how accurate in trade is.

ill take Cantor over Hutchison any day, she can put you to sleep.
Mitt is great but i fear his double talk will be used against him...
Palin looked good in interviews...
To: GOPinCa
Well duh! he said he was going to announce tomorrow.
Isn't it reasonable, without the alert drama, that he would know who it is?

Romney obviously has the inside track but I have a suspicion it’s Cantor.
I am happy either way.

Less see. It can’t be a Washington insider. It can’t be someone with more syllables in the name than McCain. It can’t be someone whose name would alphabetically come before McCain’s name. That leaves who? Palin, pal!

Just saw a poll in the Miami Herald where Mitt helped McCain in Florida the most. He did better than Crist.
I will say its Mitt. Also he is not on the speaker list at the convention.

FLASH: I just heard that he picked Oprah Winfrey!

Romney. By a hair.
Obama weak on foreign policy, McCain weak on economy.
Biden strong on foreign policy, Romney strong on economy.
Biden bad on hair, Romney good on hair.

If it were me, I’d go with Cantor. Romney is too much like McCain. Palin is attractive but inexperienced. Hutchinson is too old.
Romney is the only one who brings nothing to the table.

If I was McCain and didn't care about conservative voters? Lieberman. Brings in more moderates and Clinton voters than anyone else.
If I was McCain and I wanted to shore up the base? Probably Pawlenty. Safe conservative choice.
If I was McCain and I called ASB to find out what I should do? Mitch Daniels. Out of the blue, good conservative Governor neighboring Ohio and Michigan.

I’m going out on a limb here and will say: John Kasich. I think it may help in Ohio. While I’d be satisfied with Romney, I hope it picks someone unexpected. He should pick someone who is not a senator, that’s for sure....add some executive experience to the mix.

Catholic Bishops and bloggers are savaging Pelosi on her idiot comments. McCain would have to be an imbecile to tick off the Catholic vote right now. If he chooses a Pro Lifer, he is in pretty good shape. Infanticide kind of turns people off, don’t cha know? Barry is for it.

Can’t disagree with you, except to say that Palin would bring PUMA voters, and there’s nothing wrong with that if the election were close. But yes, Cantor, for sure.

JohnnyMc will be appearing this coming Saturday, at ConsolEnergy Park in Washington, PA. Also scheduled to appear (but not limited to) are former Pa. Gov. Tom Ridge and Mitt Romney. Ridge, in PA is a natural to ‘be there’ just to introduce...hopefully Romney is just there because he will part of the McCain Administration. I am saying a prayer, lighting a candle that it is either Sarah Palin or Eric Cantor.
To: GOPinCa
Dick Cheney.
I'd almost be willing to vote for ya then, McCain....
Sigh.

Palin gets my vote. It would be a bold move for VP choice. She's young, female, conservative, and energized. She will capture many of the votes that McCain wouldn't otherwise get.

Couple of more tidbits. Huckaby called into Rush today to clarify his stance on Mormons. Sounds like he wants to make peace. Also Mitt has left the dimocRAT convention. Destination???
Of the candidates that are qualified to be CinC at a moment’s notice, who would help McCain the most in Colorado?

I will crawl on broken glass to vote for McCain/Palin...This is a historic election. An African-American is in the Dem top spot. That needs to be considered. Two white guys as alternatives is a risky proposition.

I think Palin would backfire.
PUMA's would see Palin much like they see Obama. Attractive, young, unproven, and getting the job for a reason other than experience. Never underestimate the "she's prettier than me" factor.
Too clever by half.
