On the way to the home depot this last Saturday, I ran across this vehicle. On the back were about 8 or 9 anti-Bush bumper stickers. One had the big W that said Worst... one said "I'm president George W. Bush and I approve this mess." Of course, immediately... I say a silent prayer that this tool is heading to home depot. He did not.
I was prepared to befriend him, tell him how much I enjoy his bumper stickers and then tell him... "You know what I think, I think four more years of President George W. Bush is exactly what we need."
Even though I really don't agree with that, I found that to be the most insensitive thing that I could come up with to totally wreck this Dem.
Voting should have requirements.
you could have employed aggressive driving techniques to get him there.
They are everywhere.......yesterday, we went to a winery to taste wine.....ended up chatting with an older couple, who told us of their niece serving in the military, and that she’s on her 2nd tour.....the female left saying.....”Bush should be shot!”.....All I could say was OH...PULLLEEAASSSEEE! as she walked away...
76% of the rusted-out Subarus here still have “WELLSTONE!!” stickers on them......
You must have a loving heart for the mentally ill.
The subtext of that sticker should read...
"....unless a Democrat is President at the time."
No, I was driving my huge Dodge Ram that gets like 10MPG that CAN run on ethanol... and I thought nothing better than saying one phrase that would totally explode a DEM.
My next comment probably would have revolved around Karl Marx signing books at the local Barnes and Noble. LOL!
To me, I like to launch little nuggets that end up frosting the Dem opposition and enjoy their loud responses. They cannot respond without getting loud and out of hand. It’s great.
My last encounter revolved around me and a co-worker talking about oil prices. I offered up the fact that if Clinton hadn’t shot down drilling in ANWR in 92, then we’d have low oil prices right now. Of course he started foaming at the mouth and all I could do is laugh. It’s a great hobby.
“Voting should have requirements.”
I’ve long said there should be testing requirements. JFK, believe it or not, famously once said that 70% of people should not be allowed to vote!!!
“The subtext of that sticker should read...
“....unless a Democrat is President at the time.”
Very apt. Because, historically, it’s been Democrats who’ve gotten us into major wars. Another historical fact that most (blacks in particular) don’t realize is that the
Republicans, NOT the Democrats, were the real champions of civil rights and have done FAR more for blacks than Democrats (who furthered oppression and prejudice) ever did.
Only 8 or 9? Here in liberal h*ll 10 anti-Bush pro Al-Queda bumper stickers are the minimum. One of these days I’m going snap and start spray painting them.
Do you have a photo or link for this dim vehicle?
I could not agree more. Everyone should have a working knowledge of what a democracy is, what a representative republic is and what communism and socialism is.
Not only that, but they should be able to understand general civics that is barely being taught in schools these days.
I know this may be a controversial statement... and even though I never served in the military, I would be willing to give up my vote to let those that have served be the only ones to vote. I have a large respect for those who are there on the front lines and doing what needs to be done for the good of the country. I can’t think of a better group of folks that should be allowed to vote.
I should have joined the military when I was much younger. If only I could go back in time. Nevertheless... voting should have requirements.
My bad, I thought it posted. What I was seeing showed the embedded pic.
Here’s the link.
“I would be willing to give up my vote to let those that have served be the only ones to vote.”
That’s admirable, but fortunately no need for that. We need more voters with wisdom and thoughtfulness like yours. Still, there should be the kind of requirements that you ennumerated above in your posting.
Regarding the military, I DO, however have feelings on that - I strongly believe that the ONLY 18 year-olds (or ANY under 21) who should be allowed to vote are those serving in the military. God knows these days, 21 is (too) young enough as far as voting, but 18??? A huge mistake - except for those in the military, as I said. They’re the only ones who have a right to a say at that age.
Don't do that! Just spray their windows with hydrofluoric acid... That'll frost ‘em good! ;)
Oh, I hope you like jail-time, btw. Either will get you there, but the hydrofluoric acid will last a LONG time.
Unfortunately, George Bush having already served two terms is no longer eligible to run for President.
However, Dick Cheney IS!!!! If there is one thing liberals hate more than GW, it is Dick Cheney.
And, somehow, I think he would be elected...
Yesterday, the wife and I drove up to Madrid (New Mexico) which is the little hippy town where they filmed Wild Hogs with John Travolta. This place is a magnet for lefties. Walking around the town I felt a little like we were in the bar scene from Star Wars. I saw dozens of Obama bumper stickers and Anti-Bush stickers. I told the wife, “the next time we go there, I’m wearing my Rush Limbaugh T-shirt!”
well you could do like I did, I bought a “ george bush is saving your ass whether you like it or not” sticker. when I seen one of these fools, I would overtake them when safely possible just so they could see mine, I could sometimes see them go into a rant. One friend of mine that is a Major in the army said, let me guess who’s car that is, I like it lol.after the amnesty fiasco, I thought the sticker was foolish I removed it.
well we might not have liberals or rinos if we made requirements. poverty pimps play on the stupid.
