I guess Kim Clement was on to something, after all.
For those who do not know the name--he is a guest on the TBN Christian network from time to time. He claims to get "prophetic visions" from the Lord. In 2000--he said W would be elected, and in 04--said he would be re-elected.
I know...many will say they do not believe any of that...or it was a coincidence or such...maybe, maybe not. Nonetheless--he WAS right then.
Well...in January of this year...he made ANOTHER "prediction"--and that was that "this election is NOT going to go down as everyone is expecting it to. God is doing something different this time. And the MAN who is elected will NOT be totally a Christian when he gets in...BUT will be once he gets there.
AND he ALSO said..
"There will be some things that occur in Iraq and around the world...that will VINDICATE W, and the war WILL have been seen to be "worth it".
Keep in mind...in January..Hillary was STILL considered to be the front-runner. And EVERYONE thought that the democrats would just "walk into" the White House--and get nearly EVERY senate and house seat open to, them.
Fast forward to August.
Hillary is OUT-( at least "officially"), and many of her supporters, called "PUMAS", are NOT planing to vote for Barack Obama. And this was BEFORE his "brilliant" selection for VP-- Joe Biden. Many, including Rush, are going to have a FIELD DAY, over this old, worn-out, toothless lion!!
The PUMA'S WERE hoping that B.O. would give Hillary the VP spot. And--had this happened--the Conservatives WOULD have been in a BAD position indeed. The PUMAS would mostly have come home. NOW--they are talking about "upsetting the convention"!!
So--one has to wonder--given his MANY, recent gaffes, and inability to get much of a lead over an old, uninspiring man like Mccain,- WHY did "the one" DO such a DUMB thing??
Is he PURPOSELY throwing the election?? Already--some dems are talking about 12 or even 16, as if they are done already.
As much as I, and a LOT of us here, do NOT really like Mccain, unless he does something DUMB-(Like pick Liberman , Ridge or Graham for VP), he will likely become POTUS--for better or worse. Certainly--BETTER than Obama bin Biden. And if Mccain does something SMART, like picking Palin, Jindal or Cantor or even Blackwell or Hutchinson, he WILL WIN VERY handliy!!
Maybe someone "got to" B.O. Maybe Sir maddam Hillary. After all..she has NOT been "overly kind " to him lately. Maybe she told him-"not yet, kid", you are NOT ready. And if you EVER want ANY chance in politics again-- let this one go... Otherwise, kid....well remember Robert Torrecelli...HE wanted to "fight on too"... Perhaps something like that went on.
One way or another...it DOES look like Clemment may be right. We can only hope so.
That young man is so clueless that dumb people are embarrassed for him.
No, there's no throw there with such a lightweight.
Now, if you had asked if Hillary was throwing BO into the gullet of Moloch on Prime-Time network television... I've got a schedule of events for that....

An assumption is being made that the other people actually wanted to be the VP pick.
How many of them want to piss off the Clinton machine that much?
Clement has been a false prophet on other items. Not to be trusted.
Obama’s choice of Biden is weird. It is as if he wants to lose.

I think the serious answer to your question is “No”.
On the other hand, when I heard he picked Biden, it did briefly cross my mind that the whole stinking POTUS race is a giant setup and this is just the most recent scripted “surprise”.
I don’t really believe that, mind you... for starters I don’t think it’s even possible to pull off a conspiracy of that magnitude and keep it from either leaking out or coming unraveled.
But it *would* explain a lot of apparent insanity in our politics. ;-)

Umm, ... because he's dumb.
It's as if the clintons convinced or threatened with death everyone except Biden to not take Obama's calls...and all his consultants, promoters and script writers left him...has anyone checked on Axelrod lately? They might find him that park in DC...
On the other hand, Occam's razor suggests...they're just a bunch of dopes.
I think his internals showed him losing in Nov and Biden was the highest bidder for the VP slot.
And he introduced Biden as the next president today, too
Or, the numbers are sooooo bad that they (TeamObama) just picked the old guy (Biden who is too old to run in ‘12 or ‘16) to hitch to the loosing wagon so as not to put the ‘loser’ tag on any up and coming Dem.
As long as it is not Hillary. I am thrilled that she got the boot this summer. Now we just have to beat Obama.
O'Bama is taking that skill level to ever greater heights. In another few years, he'll be an NCO of Dumb. And it will still be above his pay-grade.
