One of the more annoying things about TV is the “Smart Kids, Stupid Adults” genre shows. My daughters (ages 6 and *) occasionally get the wrong idea about who is smarter and who is in charge... This is one of the reasons that, until recently, they didn’t get to watch very much TV.
Disney is one of the worst offenders here.
The pecking order (and it’s been that way for nearly 20 years) is youngest kid is the “smartest” (or has the smartest mouth), then the mom, then an older teen who can be a goof sometimes, then dad who is always in the doghouse and inept.
It is true of sitcoms and tv commercials.
