Bo (woof) In Commentary:

Drugs. I don’t clearly remember how I’ve become addicted to them. It may have been my parents pushing them on me or maybe it was me demanding them. It’s all so hazy now. All I know is that I ‘need’ to have each and every one of my pills to keep me going every day. That’s why this story on an owner pilfering his dog’s drugs is so upsetting.

(DES MOINES, Iowa - A Des Moines man who was arrested for driving while intoxicated apparently took his dog’s pills by mistake.

Authorities say (con't @ http://boknowsonline.com/2008/06/02/478/)

What was probably more embarrassing was when the police found him licking himself after the accident.

Although his poop was blue it was notably free of worms.

This happens all of the time. I usually council my clients that they must stay and home for a few hours after taking the dog’s medicines and make sure the doors are locked. This is to keep them from running outside and chasing cars.

Our vet always prescribed a dose of Valium for my cat before she went in for visits. It was so stressful taking her to the vet that I wish he would have given me the Valium. Finally he told me I couldn't bring her to the office any longer. He would make house calls, they didn't go much better.

Apparently he was in a hurry, and there were no hydrants nearby...

One of our electricians at work was out one day because he took his dog’s heartworm pill by mistake. It looked just like his blood pressure pill. :-) He was fine though; scared but fine.
