She has ALWAYS had trouble making 140, but the promoters keep insisting she fight at that weight. Unfortunately, the limited available competition in women’s MMA makes it hard to find matches for her at a catch-weight, and there is good reason to believe she wouldn’t be competitive at the higher weightclass.
I recently watched a rebroadcast of her last fight and, honestly, she was pretty impressive in how she was able to reverse a very bad position and end up winning by submission.
Bathe her and bring her to me.

If the Lawler fight doesn't go 3 rounds this will put the audience to sleep forever waiting three hours to watch 10 minutes of fighting. If so I don't see how the Kimbo/Thompson fight can save the day for SeeBS...
I wasn’t paying too much attention to the announcers but I recall one of them saying Carano had only three weeks to prepare for this fight which, I suppose, is why she didn’t make weight. Once the fight started, I did pay attention. Over weight and a bit out of shape notwithstanding, she took it to her opponent. While I don’t particularly care for MMA, it was an interesting bout. She is cute too.
I watched the entire show,(without the sound), and I was not that impressed. That said, I used to be a boxing fan, but what passes for boxing cards these days is pretty boring. Free ELITE XC is probably better than any paid boxing programs. Lampley and Merchant are so last century.
