Having a great exclusive story is often not enough to get it published. You still must get the story past the editors. Editors can be very reluctant to publish or air something really hot for fear of being wrong, or even if the story is right, fear of retaliation from the story subject.
Classic case in point: Michael Isakof at Time Magazine had the Clinton/Lewinski story cold, all the details, triple confirmed, but the editors spiked it on a Friday. The Washington Post was also sniffing around the story and had some details but not all of them. By Saturday, it was all over a then little-known website called the Drudge Report, but few people read Drudge back then. Jackie Judd at ABC also developed the story over the weekend, but producers and suits at ABC were afraid of running it.
So “someone” used Reporter Trick #7 to get the bosses to go with the story. A certain reporter called a friend at a small newspaper and gave them about 30% of the details. This is how the “system” works; you give the story to the small newspaper reporter. My favorite was an old friend at the Daily Oklahoman (“The Oak”.) They then ran with it and the story would move on the AP or UPI wire. You, the original reporter can then run into the producers’ / editors’ offices with the wire service copy, screaming, “Look, the Oak has my story! If we don’t get this on the air NOW, everyone will have it and we will look like idiots because we had the story and did nothing!!!!”
The editors / producers know what you are doing, but they play the game too. They “reluctantly” agree to run the story. Of course they tell you “it’s your ass” if the story is wrong. (Editors, producers and suits always blame reporters if a story is wrong, but are first in line when the Emmys or Pulitzers are handed out.)
In the Lewinski case, ABC finally agreed to let Jackie Judd go with the Monica story at 11:45 Monday night. They broke into “Nightline”… and the rest is history.
This may be what is happening here. Everyone in DC knows about Hillary and the girl de jour. They have alluded to it a number of times on the air, but no one has had the culjones to air the story in full. “Vogue” came very close to running it, but did not.
This may have been fed to the Globe to be the “story that breaks the story.”

Somewhat immateriel. In this case, they are the MSM’s cover.
The other thing is this: the MSM/Rat Establishment is desperate to get the Hildabeast out of the race. They are sick of it and want to move on to attempting to destroy John McCain.
They also hate Hildy for not dropping out and sooner. So they will slowly start turning up the heat on her, including having stories start percolating up through the tabloids. They know that she knows the MSM can run with a tab story at any time.

Ever since the NY Slimes ran an innuendo sex scandal on the RINO relic. When it comes to sex scandals, I trust the Globe more than the NY Slimes.

What problem do you have with reality? I have been at meetings with old network reporter friends in DC where this was the only topic discussed for 20 minutes.
Just because the Chi Trib hasn’t covered it, don’t hold your breath.
Fact:The Antique Medjia is smitten with the Big Ear Socialist, and wants Hildebeast out to stop the chaos in their beloved DemonRat party.
Therefore it would not surprise me if they planted this story in the Globe to try to help unravel Her Thighness’ candidacy.
This line alone sets my BS alarm to full tilt.
Have you noticed how Chelsea has gone out of her way, not just to court the homosexual community, but to show up and have her pic taken at perverse events, such as the Red Dress Party or whatever that thing was?

Thanks but I think that I will discount this. Just like I discounted the George and Laura Bush getting a divorce story that has run in another supermarket tabloid.
I'd say take Huma. She's younger, much better looking, and doesn't have a history of cheating on her spouse.
Bill is just jealous because Hillary is getting the better deal.
