Jesus Was Son of a Roman Rapist That's also more or less the same what the Nazis said. With the difference that it was a Germanic Roman officer in their version.

Verhoeven is best known as the director of ..... as well as the spectacular flop "Showgirls."Just one spectacular flop? I thought these things came in threes.
Well, looks like after this one is history, he's only got one more to go.

Hope this Verhoeven guy likes heat! The heat from here above is probably the point.
The possibility of heat from below would probably be an unintended consequence.

Verhoeven is best known as the director of the films "Basic Instinct," the Arnold Schwarzenegger film "Total Recall," as well as the spectacular flop "Showgirls."
I consider all three mega-flops, no matter how much they made in the long run. All of these movies you roll you eyes at and groan as walking out of the theater, if you were stupid enough to pay money to go see. Movies soo useless to art and humanity, it makes you actually question why humans are on the planet.

I’m sure every hollywood studio is involved in a biding war over who gets the rights to make the movie. And I smell a best picture nomination for Oscars and Cannes.

In this new publication, Verhoeven feels that he successfully proves that Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, was raped by a Roman soldier during the Jewish uprising in Galilee and the boy Jesus was the result of that attack. No virgin birth for Christ, but instead a rape. That is pretty close to the story of Brian in Monty Python's 'Life of Brian'. She identified the father as Naughtius Maximus.

Jesus Christ scares the selfish. How else would one explain the centuries-old efforts to distort Him?
