I’ve heard great things about Tiger Army — but have yet to hear them. If they’re psychobilly, how similar are they to the Cramps (one of my all time, desert island must have bands)?
To be honest, I never listened to the Cramps. Tiger Army is sort of hard to compare if you don’t know the genre. Think rockabilly, speed it up a bit, and in some Social Distortion, Misfits, 70’s punk with a Western (not country) spin, hard to describe...The guy who basically is Tiger Army grew up in a small town in northern California, the same town that the guys in AFI came from, and they are good friends. Early AFI sounds alot like TA.
