To be honest, I never listened to the Cramps. Tiger Army is sort of hard to compare if you don’t know the genre. Think rockabilly, speed it up a bit, and in some Social Distortion, Misfits, 70’s punk with a Western (not country) spin, hard to describe...The guy who basically is Tiger Army grew up in a small town in northern California, the same town that the guys in AFI came from, and they are good friends. Early AFI sounds alot like TA.

Check out the Cramps when you can, I was always under the impression that they were considered to be the originators of psychobilly (they have that really twangy, acid, B52s meet Deliverance sound). I’ll definitely check out Tiger Army — they sound pretty up my alley. Misfits, Social D — good stuff.
