Maria Elena Holly said Friday that Peggy Sue Gerron's "Whatever Happened to Peggy Sue?" is unauthorized and will harm Holly's name, her reputation and that of her company, Holly Properties.

"I feel I have every right to write my book. That's why we live in America." she said.

Works for me.

Me too. Interesting she isn’t saying what’s in the book is a lie. Just that it will harm reputations. And the cash cow I guess.

Where else can you be sued for writing a book about your own life?

He requires class action. Bigger settlement. If he gets elected there will be no raise in taxes, just more law suits by the feds.

The suit will push the book onto the NY Times best selling list.

If the book sucks and is full of untruths, the public won’t buy it and it simply will not sell...capitalism straight and true. I am sure it has a few things uncovered about Buddy Holly but how much could be uncovered that hasn’t already been done?

Thank you!

I knew just as soon as I saw it in print that what I had written was incorrect. That was from “Eddie & the Cruisers”, right?

“Betty Lou Got A New Pair Of Shoes” was originally done in 1958 by Bobby Freeman.

It was covered in the “Eddie And The Cruisers” (1983)soundtrack and most recently by Neil Young on his “Mystery Train” CD in 2001.
