There's been some complaining on the original thread about hijacking, so I'm offering a chance for you guys to continue the debate without all the distracting comments. I'd suggest not pinging anyone until the debate is finished.

Didn’t know that. That’s too bad. But it probably wouldn’t have made a difference. I also challenged him on his blog, and he publicly refused to answer.

I thought he answered rather well. How about you take your objections to the authors of the journal articles and report back to us.

Dave, did you know ERV got himself banned? He posted something on Dawkin’s “God Delusion” and was summarily escorted out of the building. I think it’s quite possible that one of the mods wasn’t aware of the reason for his presence here. Is there any way we can bring him back to finish the debate? Perhaps we could get him to agree to refrain from polluting/creating other threads promoting his anti-Christian agenda and to just stick to the debate. If we do somehow get him back, I would like to open up the debate so others can participate, especially as it relates to AiG’s position re: ERVs and common descent. What do you think???

On his blog, he said he posted something about Dawkin’s “God Delusion” and that was got him banned. I’m not sure exactly what he tried to post, or what he tried to do with it. But if possible, I would like to have him back in an expanded debate that would include ERVs.

Just posted Ryan again over at his blog. Apparently he is afraid of a friendly debate. I wouldn’t doubt it if he got himself banned from this forum on purpose.

If you know something about ERVs the has eluded all the PhDs, why not take it directly to them. Let’s face it. You are far above the level of even Nobel prize winners. Why pick on us?

Even if you can’t get the professionals’ attention, you can publish your earth shattering theory privately and get credit for it when the mainstream eventually comes around.
