AP) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. Police say a 7-year-old girl died Saturday when her 5-year-old brother accidentally pushed a big screen TV onto her.
The children were watching television in their mother's bedroom at about 8 a.m., while she slept.
Police say the boy inadvertently pushed the television forward when he went behind it to plug in a video game. His sister was on the floor below.
The girl suffered head injuries and died at a local hospital. Police are treating it as an accident.
Poor little thing. Prayers for her and that family.
When are people going to learn to use safer furniture and straps to lessen the chance of this happening?
What is worse the point in time when the brother is either told or becomes aware of what he did.
Very sad.
oh no! awful
