Does any one drive a hybrid ??

Posted on 08/28/2007 10:38:47 AM PDT by BlueMoose

I had a Honda Hybrid. The main battery keeps running down.

When this happens the car will not start. Now this is not good. When you stop at a stop sign or stop light and the engine will not start you had a real problem. The car can't be jumped because the starter is powered by the main battery. Yesterday I had this car towed to the dealer. This is the third time this has happened.

Does anyone else dive a Honda hybrid ? Has anyone had this problem?

Should read have a Honda Hybrid. I still have it. How much longer I can not say. I’m tried of this. The saving on fuel is not worth the hassle.

I don’t know Moose, but may I suggest that this be posted in General Chat. Some people who might know the answer may skip the Religion section. You may get more responses from General Chat. Just a thought. Good luck!

I was behind a broken hybrid a few months ago. It was spewing out ozone, could smell it for hundreds of feet behind it.

I don’t know if you have a “lemon law” in Alaska, but in many states you could take the car back to the dealer and demand a replacement at little or no cost. This time you might want to get a Civic with a V6 - great mileage without having to plug it in like a big toaster.

I disagree. Hybrid ownership is a religion so this was posted correctly.

Hybrid ownership is a religion so this was posted correctly.

The Torah says hybrids are forbidden.

I drive a hybrid Jeep.

It's a cross between a car and a POS.

Whatever section you’re in when you post is where something will show up. The moderators can move something to another section — try pinging the Admin Mod or the Religion Moderator.
