Unless, you know, it's not. Unless the violent twinge of queasy paranoia crossed with that uncontrolled bout of colon-clenching sighing you experience is deadly accurate and your radar for all things sinister and Rovean is right on target as you read about the delightfully titled National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51 and the Homeland Security Presidential Directive/HSPD-20, wherein it is calmly and furtively revealed that, in essence, George W. Every president since Teddy Rosevelt has signed the same, or similar order.
Morford is a moron.
Clinton signed much the same thing the last year of his presidency... and any president takes on much the same power in time of a massive attack on America. You wouldn't then bad-mouth Bush for his failure to plan then, would you?
Having been a CD Volunteer in my younger years, I can only laugh when I see things like this.
So many people are uneducated as to what the role of CD was, that it’s easy to scare the sheeple when someone plays loose with THE FACTS, but that is the world we live in today...
If Hillary’s election counts as a “catastrophic event,” I am all in favor of this legislation.
