Bush owns your sorry ass.
Or, to put it another way, it looks like the Bumbling One just gave himself ever more power. Power to control and dictate the entire government, power to really spread the gospel of happy GOP incompetence, power to command the entire wobbly American universe should some sort of epic -- or not so epic, as the case may be -- calamity strike the homeland.
It goes something like this: Should any "decapitating event" occur in America that somehow incapacitates the D.C. power structure, should "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions" take place, well then, all power and decision making would devolve to the White House, which would then attempt to orchestrate

Clinton signed much the same thing the last year of his presidency... and any president takes on much the same power in time of a massive attack on America. Of course, liberals don’t believe in evil, the War on Terror, or responsibility for anyone other than themselves, so the possibility of a nuclear attack obliterating NYC, Washington, or LA... or all three... is a non-starter for them.
You wouldn't then bad-mouth Bush for his failure to plan then, would you?
Having been a CD Volunteer in my younger years, I can only laugh when I see things like this.
So many people are uneducated as to what the role of CD was, that it’s easy to scare the sheeple when someone plays loose with THE FACTS, but that is the world we live in today...
If Hillary’s election counts as a “catastrophic event,” I am all in favor of this legislation.
