Please investigate this photograph that appeared in my local newspaper, the Vancouver Sun. At first glance, this appears to be a case of fauxtography. If not actually a doctored photo, were the Palestinians having an outdoor barbecue or were they themselves firing rockets at Israel?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Looks phoney-baloney to me...that would be very easy to photoshop.
Most likely, something the Palestinians were aiming toward Israel that backfired on them! Of course, the MSM will claim the opposite. Feh.

I think you may be right about the fauxtography. When you blow up the pic some weird pixilation appears around the rocket, and the sky looks like its been edited - to remove clouds, judging by the shapes of the edits.

Shadows don’t match those on the people in the foreground very well, either. I’m a little more than suspicious. Clumsy fake, I’d call it. Need to fire the “photographer”.

Not an Israeli missile - it's clearly "falling" without an exhaust plume, and all missiles are powered until impact. Also, a powered missile would be traveling so fast it would only be a blurry streak. If this is an actual photo I would have to say it's a dud home made Pali rocket falling into the cheering spectators.
