If I had $1564.37 to spend on computer equipment, it wouldn’t be for a keyboard. For that kind of money #### should type itself.

Ouch! A more useful toy is Logitech's Alto for laptoppers. It puts your laptop at a more comfortable viewing level plus giving you a full size keyboard. It also has a nifty built in USB hub for peripherals.

From their advertising website: "This tiny device laser-projects a keyboard on any flat surface... you can then type away accompanied by simulated key click sounds."

And that's the problem ~ "any flat surface" feels like a piece of cast iron in just a few minutes.

Touch typists (like I am) don't need a keyboard display at all. Rather, we need a machine that senses what we are doing ~ not the other way around.

Neat-o. I'm working toward my IFR rating and considering setting up a home simulator though not as elaborate as those shown.

Got a web site URL where other examples might be found???

Google “flight simulator” and spend the rest of the day, or several days, checking out all the links to software and hardware. It’s mind boggling. There’s all kinds of major packages to buy or download, and a gazillion mods and add-ons. I used to play around with Microsoft Flight Simulator 95, and they are ‘way beyond that one now with the current versions and all the add-ons.
