I would disagree.
Someone here on FR said that for every moderate vote Rudy picks up, he will lose a Conservative vote . I agree .
There was only one candidate who can win the general election, that even bothered to attend the SHOT Show ... It wasn't Rudy....

Care to try and articulate the thrust of your original argument again, this time leaving the Swamp English behind?

My comments have nothing to do with politics. We are a nation at war and the enemy is here in our country. For that reason alone, I demand every gun right that I am guaranteed under the Constitution. The Second Amendment does not split hairs.
Homeland Security has had over five yrs. to prove to me that they cannot protect me and mine. Therefore, all talk of which guns and what kind of guns is moot. As long as Achmed and Walid are down the street sitting in their QuikMart, talking gibberish on their cellphones, and glaring at infidels like me, I demand the right to own all the firearms that I need. Either the gov't agency assigned to the task does it's job, or private citizens will do it.
I won't be a sitting duck because of PC BS.

A cautionary lesson for the GOP can be found in your profile page...
Retired, Republican since the Goldwater campaign...
A political party that pisses off its oldest and most loyal supporters is a party that is headed for defeat. I can't claim to have been a Republican for as long as you (I was in diapers during the Goldwater campaign!), but I've voted for every GOP presidential candidate since Reagan. But '08 is going to be different if they insist on trying to force a RINO like Giuliani down my throat. I've got better things to do with a November day than waste my time voting for that dipstick.

I agree. My guns are mine. I bought them legally. I won't risk it.
Look at CA and the gun grabbing there.
(No, we don't want to confiscate them. We just like to know who has them. Then turn around and make a law to confiscate them.)
No votes from this household for Rudy.

Memories of the Nazi party using gun registration information to round up the people's guns early in their reign of terror.
