Everytime I download Shockwave I get a message saying successful but it won't go on.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: notnews
Last Sunday my son was up with his daughters and somehow something got changed on my computer when they tried to play Dora.
Now I don't get a MS warning block like I remember and the program says I should have one at the top of the screen.
Do I need to change my Internet Tools and how should they be set?
Hope someone can help.

Go to Tools>Manage Add-ons and see if it's listed there and enabled.

You can solve all your problems with a Mac.

While this is entirely true, it can also be solved by using Firefox on the PC.

If you upgrading from an older version of Flash or Shockwave you will have to remove the all versions via (Control Panel/ Add/Remove Programs). Reboot and reinstall the newer version from the Adobe website.

No one goes near my computer. The electro-mechanical PC (Personal Confuser) is a figment of my imagination ... who can know it?

core.hp.main/application.xmlIt's a registry problem. If you have a registry cleaner it should fix that problem.

I was running regcure the day it happened; that's when I couldn't download shockwave.
I restored back before that and now I get the core... error only on bootup.
I'm afraid to reinstall it.

I am not familar with regcure but the problem you are having is caused by a double entry in your registry. In this case it's more annoying then harmful. Regcure should be able to clean it up.
