I'm on whomever's side Mario isn't on. He's annoying and so is his screeching music. He gets the remote zap quicker than that Head On commercial.

Of the four, only Rachel that does not have a formal education in culinary school. But, don't count her out yet. Especially since she's pairing with Mario.

Rachel is cute, but she's no chef and has no breasts
Giada is a babe and a good cook. Plus, she's Italian. Mama Mia!
Flay and Batali are both supposed to be lower sphincter orifices.
"noun Anatomy a circular band of voluntary or involuntary muscle that encircles an orifice of the body or one of its hollow organs."

I love Rachel Ray but putting her with the lefty loon Batali makes me want to puke!

The FOOD network is cheapening all their shows by pitting one against another. They used to be far better than that, but now it seems they are only interested in ratings. The producers used to care about their people, now it seems they care about money more than anything. Great sellout FOOD network!

Rachel Ray vs. Giada Delaurentis Wrestling topless in EVOO?
I'd watch that.

I can't handle Giada as an Italian cook. I picture her taking regular breaks to induce vomiting after daring to taste her food. Italy is now becoming known for eating disorders among young to middle-aged women.
Here's for Rachel.

Giada is so ugly that I have to look away from the screen when they show a blip of her mug, And Rachel is such a doll that I can't take my eyes off the screen when she's on; this will be challenging !! :o)

Alton Brown rules it! Actually the whole Food Network crew rules it!
I am torn - I am a huge Giada fan (what man isn't)! She is the 'uptown girl' to Ray's 'downtown girl.' I go more for 'uptown,' what can I say?
But I strongly prefer Maria Batali to Bobby Flay (though they are both good). I'd rather they teamed up Giada & Mario!
I'll tune in for sure! WOW!

Why do they call it iron chef? Do they cook only in cast iron implements?

Gee, I'm watching RR cooking lamb and polenta tonight and she is downright depressed--no ring...is this an old episode? Never seen her perform with so little animation.
