Go to this web page http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15253047/page/2/ and in the last paragraph move your mouse over the words "Clintons 16" then click on it. When I do it takes me to this page http://www.sec.state.la.us/elections/elections-index.htm
tin foil hat on straight?
won't do it for me
Not happening in my browser.
Doesn't work for me. It's just regular text.
OK, put the Jack Daniel's down and step back away from the keyboard!
Well are you planning on letting the rest of us in on the secret?
I am using Safari browser on Mac OS X.
Alot of links in the story. Hillary's web page, Kerry, Newt, McCain.
Must be a MAC thing. Not a "Jack Daniels" thing!
Yep must be a MAC thing. I gets no linky on IE.
yep thats your problem... macs are geared toward liberals... :D
I'm afraid I don't get it.
There are links all through the story. They take you to different political pages. At first I thought it was a "rat trick" by MSNBC. But the links go to all parties.
First two I got were Louisiana Elections page and then John Kerry's page.
I didn't get the Jack Daniels remark made by Jambe; my browser isn't picking up any links in the article for some reason.
A local forum I visit tried a server for a while that linked to random words in the postings. They switched servers after a while because the postings became increasingly x rated because we were all screwing around trying to cause the most outrageous links.
I am also using Mac OS X and Safari... no links.
I checked the source code and there ARE lots of links on the page... but none in the body of the text.
I highlighted some test and double clicked and wound up on a a political page for John Kerry... That is strange.
OCTOBER
13 John Kerry campaigns with New Hampshire Democrats
I also checked the source code and couldn't find any links inside the text...
I think there is something wrong with their coding... it allows selection of text far beyond what appears to be selected. It could be deliberate.
its possible... I didn't look into it that much, but i tried(in firefox) to reproduce the highlight double click and couldn't...
