I was just curious, what is the longest running flame war on Free Republic (or other message boards)? Please post your link with start and end dates (approximate, if necessary).

To: Axhandle
It has to be either a drug thread or a creation thread

Probably one of the Schwarzenegger for Governor threads from 2003.

It would have to have been during the Elian fiasco or during the whole Terri Schiavo imbroglio.

We at Free Republic are a moderated forum (thank you Jim). Most flame wars are stopped by the Mods before they get out of hand.

Eschior was a liberal lawyer from VA (?) who would sign on under phony names and raise hell.

I've been in a flame war with the same woman since about 2000. It started on one forum and then switched to another forum. It's actually rather humorous how she seems to be obsessed with everything I write, regardless of the subject.

I miss DITHF ('Deep-in-the-Hurtgen-Forest') or what ever his name was, the Medal of Honor, Special Forces, Brigadier General who had inside info on a Clinton/UN plot to rule the world back in 1999.

The Anglo-French Flame War between myself and Angelique. Sadly it was cut short by her untimely passing.

I'm a big fan of Wellington (Sharpe's Rifle's and the Pennisula Wars are my favorite reading).
