Angie, World Woman, would've been fit to be tied had she gotten her tattooed latitudes/longitudes of her childrens' birthplaces wrong--to later learn that they were actually coordinates like Peoria or Cincinnati. World Woman would have gotten a bad case of the vapors.

Black tailor-suited and pearled World Woman is of pseudointellectual type.

"That was such a visually odd movie! Almost plastic-looking."

You're too kind. What a waste of talent, money, and 106 minutes of my life.

The movie was an experiment -- the whole thing was shot in front of a blue screen and used computer graphics. Nothing (except the actors and a few props) was real.

I actually think she'll do a great job of acting the role, regardless of her personal views. She is a halfway decent actress, and not just eye candy.

I think I'm the only person ever to like that movie. I thought it was cool.

I realize Jolie is just an actress, and nice eye candy, but she's also basically a socialist.

Admittedly I don't follow her every word but from what I know of her I don't think she's a socialist (unless being concerned about innocent children makes one a socialist). I saw her at some national press event and was surprised at her diplomacy and adeptness at dodging partisan politics statements.

My choices: Jude Law as Hank Rearden and Gwyneth Paltrow as Dagney Taggart.

WOW, you really want this story to tank huh?

Actually I really WAS trying to be nice, since I couldn't tell if you liked it or not . . . but I share your opinion. I found it overhyped and tiring to my eyes.

I like to mock Brad Pitt as much as the next guy

I used to think Brad Pitt was pretty much a lightweight as an actor, but he really has come into his own over the last several years.

He was excellent in "Troy"

His "12 Monkeys" character was electrifying. Tyler Durden was magnificent.

I agree on both of those, plus he was excellent in Snatch and really good in A River Runs Through It.

That said, I finally got around to watching Interview with a Vampire. Uggh. Pitt was dull as a bowling ball. And Cruise was an unintentionally comical result of horrific casting. That movie blew. The only person who was fun to watch in that movie was Kirsten Dunst and she was a little girl at the time.
