I am looking towards a Friday, one Friday, any Friday where I can just goof off and visit the OFST with no other issues in the background.

I know what you mean.

When I rule the world I shall make everyday Friday and destroy all that stand in my way!

Gotta love Family Guy and baby Stu...

Lots of crazy stuff going on.

Hubby & I just finished moving and now we need to unpack.

Deaths galore...(I am debating buying condolences cards in bulk...)

Other family BS & nonsense...

The list goes on this week.

I just sent that motivational poster to our comptroller/HR person. She pretty much told me that, word for word today. She used the F-bomb, though.

She's really good.

With family deaths comes an upswing of family BS. Sorry to hear about that situation. And you're moving... wasn't there a stress scale that assigned points for each action in ones life. Moving is a biggy. Marriage is another. Changing jobs or job requirements. Death in the family. Illness in the family.

I stopped counting my stress points two years ago and figured the odds were in my favor for some peace...HA! Fat chance. So I gravitate toward humor.

I saw the stress points scales numerous times in various human development classes and at the time I thought the stress should have already killed me. Then another 12 or so years went by that made the previous stress seem like a walk in the park.

What I did find is that if there are enough simultaneous stressors going on, the whole system goes on "who cares" mode and you just get through the motions. Of course, the peak of stress that leads to much agner and frustration is no picnic...

We had the "good stress" stress late last year and early this year. Weddings, new grandson, new cars, etc.
