I'm very aware of the Holocaust, but I still don't see why some have such hatred for Jewish people. I am truly naive about it all.

Naive isn't a bad thing imho. It's better than being wilfully ignorant. People accused me of being naive throughout life. I seemed to be much happier and less bitter about life than they were.
