LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Miramax Films is developing a satirical comedy with the former editor in chief of the Onion. "Homeland Insecurity" will track the misadventures of two Arab-Americans who are mistaken for terrorists while on a business trip to Texas. Robert Siegel will write the screenplay; he has co-written the script for "The Untitled Onion Movie" for Fox-based Regency Enterprises.

Who would you cast?
PLease .. No Robin Williams or Steve Martin.
Guaranteed a Best Picture nomination.
I agree.
How about Art Malik (True Lies) and Ghassan Massoud (Kingdom of Heaven)?
I'm laughing already (not!).
Hopefully it will be screened for the families of 9/11 victims like United 93 was.
God, is there *anything* funnier than terrorism? I think not. Okay, Team America was awesome, but it wasn't written by liberals.
And since it's Miramax, does that mean Gwyneth Paltrow will be in it? Maybe Ralph Fiennes can play the director of Homeland Security.
The only way I'd go see it is if it starred Will Farrell and Jack Black, because no one could play Arab-American (not)terrorists like they could.
How about a dark satire of genuine terrorists rather than another attempt by Hollyweird to pretend that there is no threat?
