A second exotic dancer who performed at a March 13 Duke University lacrosse team party where a woman says she was raped and assaulted by three athletes made an obscene gesture at a television camera during court proceedings on Tuesday.
When Kim Roberts noticed WRAL's camera in the courtroom, she made the gesture and then stuck out her tongue.

Duck University has a problem here. Duck figured prominently in Dnesh D'Sousa's list of formerly serious schools which had degenerated into PC factories, and it sounds like not really enjoying the evil fruits of the stuff right now.
There is a whole class of people who only "respect" the law when they can pervert it to serve their own purposes.Any judge with an ounce of integrity would have had this woman arrested and held in contempt of court ... to use her as an example to others similarly tempted.
My reply to her would include the phrase.."and the horse you rode in on!"

Roberts, 31, was in court for a probation hearing on a previous embezzlement charge.
She was arrested on March 22 -- eight days after the lacrosse party -- on a probation violation from a 2001 conviction for embezzling $25,000 from a photo-finishing company in Durham where she was a payroll specialist, according to court documents.

I am just not sure if that is the appropriate descriptor. I just don't think that term is inclusive enough. Sex industry worker is a quite modern term and seems to leave open all the possibilities. Of course, those of us who still look to the nineteenth century for reading material might favor harlot over the more common and cruder term whore or its variant 'ho. Whatever, exotic dancer seems to make her more than she is, and as this story proves she ain't much.
Im starting to think that the Duke University lacrosse team should not have hired the cheapest "entertainers" they could find. Probably to late for a refund.

Men have the comfort of knowing that no matter how pretty a "babe" is, in a few short years she will not be able to rely on that for anything- not for money, power, nor quick satisfaction with a man she just met.
This lawsuit does not help to enhance the compensating qualities she will need to survive when that day inevitably arrives.
Duke can thank the great Stanley Fish (former head of their English Dept., and one of the leading lefty/deconstructionists in academe).
