Way back in the good old days of FR, this forum used to have some good capability towards the advancement of conservative principles concerned with the restoration of our republic.

Today, all over the internet, this forum is considered a joke because of compromises about conservative principles. I re-joined this evening to ask this fundamental question: what happened to FR?.

I could be wrong since all I'm doing is searching but it looks like Buckeroo used the email address neal@nealknox.com in the first post I found with a google site search.

But if Knox was a stand up guy, I'm happy to be wrong. His web site says he was vice President of the NRA and commended by the Texas state senate so it would be good for me to be wrong.

That's an older Freep format I'm not familiar with - doesn't the email address go with the poster or am I reading that wrong?

I believe that in the post you cited, Knox's email was the source for the post and ol' Bucky was the poster.

Way back when, a lot of us used to post our email addys sort of like today's taglines, but people were getting hassled by the moonbats so that practice stopped.

I don't think Knox = Buckeroo works, in fact IIRC Bucky is busy posting at one of the anti-FReeper sites.
