If UCLA wins, I'm moving to France with Alec Baldwin.
Looks like my Gators are going to have to whup LSU for a third time this year.
Tought to beat a team three times in a year. ;) GEAUX TIGERS!
Having said that...I hope FLorida and LSU get there, wins, and then makes the blue-staters have to watch an all SEC National Championship game! LOL!
I didn't see the game, but heard from several people that the LSU team was acting like total trash after the game. Supposedly their star was talking smack after the win and almost went into the stands, and had his interview on nat'l tv cutoff because he was cussing.
Did this actually happen?
LSU over Texas? That means the 2 teams I had in the Championship game are already out.... My brackets are SCREWED!
go memphis
And on top of that, it looks like South Carolina is going to make it back to the NIT Championship game. (I'm sure glad the Gators don't have to face them again)
It may have looked like that, but he was pointing at and yelling at the LSU fans in the stands.
And he didn't let loose with any curse words on air. He did let a few fly while yelling into the stands, but you had to read his lips.
What he said in the post game interview was "This ain't over here. I got a tapeworm in my stomach and I'm still hungry!"
At 320 pounds, I bet he IS still hungry! ;)
UCLA took it to Memphis from the opening tip.
The dream continues for the bruins.
When are you leaving? ;O)
"The dream continues for the bruins."
and it's about to come to an abrupt end when they play LSU
Probably.
Since the Bruins have been there before, I'd like to see LSU get to the final game, but whatever happens, happens. I liked what the LSU players said at the end of the game that they were still hungry. I also wonder what the one LSU player {the one that had the leg cramp} yelled after the game was over.
Amazing that UCLA wins only making 14 shots the entire game. The rest of their points came from free throws.
Btw, that was one of the worst basketball games I've ever seen at any level -- no discipline, horrible shooting, wild passing, etc. I hope John Wooden didn't watch this debacle; he'd have been tortured.
And of those 14 FGs 10 were probably dunks.
The rest of their points came from free throws.
And they missed 19 of them, shooting .513 from the line.
