"Youre exactly right.
Yet at the same time you obviously dont understand the humor associated with it.
Its called satire:
Irony, sarcasm, or caustic wit used to attack or expose folly, vice, or stupidity."

It was to protect them from a lawsuit. If Scientology sues them based on that episode, then it woudl be like Scientology is likening themselves to the group SP portrayed last night.

Most definitely so, you are correct, this context came across to me as well. It was not a poke in the eye to Hayes at all, "So, you think we're religious bigots, do ya?" No, it was an inspired hit on that fruity little club, same way they lampoon the public priest offenses of the RCC, "The Catholic Boat ...."
And they did the most clever bit to enable a different voice for use of the character Chef, he will still be able to hand out his advice to the boys. Can't wait to see him behind the cafeteria counter, the Chef Vader voice intones, "Today's menu, Salisbury steak, green bean medley ... " LOL!!
It will be shown again tonight (Thurs eve), SP's regular time slot on Comedy Central, according to promo info on CC today.

bump for later
