He could lose more than 12 pounds with a well placed enema. I love it!

Great stuff..kept me laughing al the way through my steamed vegetable lunch. Anyway, this reminds me of when my daughter was just 13 and was chosen to attend a Summer Ballet program at Suzanne Farrell's (former NYC Ballet princiapal) home in the Adirondacks. I had heard about her strict enforcement of eating rules, but I never dreamed my daughter would be writing home everyday crying about how hungry they all were. So after all attempts at sending food packages were thwarted by Farrell, I decided to remove the contents of 2 huge tampon boxes and sent them stuffed with staples...cereal bars, dried fruit, nuts, etc. Yup... she found me out and boy was my daughter embarrassed.
I hope our Mikey learns the hard way...no care packages for this boy.

That is so funny. Tampons are so lightweight...that must have been the give-away....it may have worked if the person checking the package was a man.

I agree with your analysis. I've also been through this, and he should be able to lose a LOT more than 12 pounds in 3 weeks. If he actually works at it, he should be able to lose 12 pounds in the first week alone.

"So at that rate, he's gonna be there what..... two years?"
Good. Keep him busy.

My grandfather used to say, "Self-denial is good for the soul". Unfortunately, Michael Moore seems to be poor at that...as most liberals are: they can't help indulge themselves in everything from helpless whingeing about President Bush to gay sex in bathhouses.
I wish him every success in his endeavour, however, though my respect for his method is marginal. I got healthy by turning vegetarian and exercising. No paying $3800 required.

I lost a lot of weight by exercise and going vegetarian too (vegetarian low-carb, which can be challenging, LOL!)
Did anybody else figure out that this is almost a $1000 a pound? Yikes!
To: alwaysconservative
I haven't been so good about low carb, but it's worked nonetheless.
I find it surprising Michael Moore is willing to pay this much - as I understand it, he's something of a miser.

I guess that means if he's successful, he go from being fat, drunk and stupid to just drunk and stupid.

Wow, what a bargain $950 a pound.

$3800 per week.
$11,400 for 3 weeks.
12 pounds in 3 weeks.
That would be $950/lb.

Ive lost 30 since March, but I never lost more than 3 or 4 a week
ONLY when I did extreme hiking, 45 miles in 3 days with a high protein diet, did I lose more than 10 pounds in a week
