Given the above described observations in the process of fertilization in mammals, can we tell which time point (in humans) is such that all times afterward have rights, and all times before lack rights?

Serious answer, attempting to obfuscate the issue by detailing the minutae of fertilization will not work. All you have to do is wait for successful implantation (and making sure it is not a molar pregnancy or ectopic pregnacy) before clamping down on abortion, and you will have eliminated the overwhelming majority of abortions today.

And RU-486 has its own health risks...for the mother, too.

First sentence is demonstrably untrue. Fertilization rates in vitro are comparable to those in vivo.
