I can't believe that they are taking Enterprise off the air. This season has been the best ever, the scripts are better, the plots are better... It looks like the network has gone out of it's way to destroy it. Putting it up against some strong opposition when it was just fine on Wednesdays...

I'll be buying this season on DVD the minute it comes out

Who said that Network executives had brains.... I think the real reason is that Berman contract expires in 06 and someone else will be doing the next trek show.

By the time they fixed it, they had lost their audience. I got annoyed with the PC plots and quit watching. Then they moved the show, and I simply lost track of when it was on. Maybe Sci-Fi channel will pick it up. That's how they got Stargate SG-1. I'll bet Showtime (I think) is kicking themselves over that one.

The new BSG is IMHO one of the best sci-fi series ever. True sci-fi. Acting, plot, screenplay, effects are all great. Plus it has an air of seriousness, realism and scientific correctness that keeps me coming back for more. I can't stop watching them...even if reruns.

Sorry if this makes me a dork...can't help it...love sci-fi.

Please add me to this list. Thanks!

The network had very little to do with the destruction of enterprise. Berman and Braga are to blame for its untimely demise. They've always stated that they don't like the original series and anything connected with it, which was what this show was supposed to be. They've worked all along to manufacture its demise.

yep, they got the rights from showtime. First to air the reruns, then when Showtime's contract ran out, they bought the rights to new episode.

Last week's was great, thanks for the reminder to tune in tonight! It's been so long that I've watched Enterprise with any regularity, my "default" for Friday nights is to tune into the Sci-Fi channel! I know I would've forgotten if it weren't for this ping.

Problem is between the bad stories last year and the constant tweaking of the schedule they lost their audience. TV shows exist to get ratings, no matter how good it is if it's not getting the numbers it gets the axe.

When Sci-Fi picked up "StarGate" and ran the episodes from Showtime, did they have to cut them for time? Or were the shows only 40+ minutes long to start with? Since I didn't get Showtime at the time, I didn't see it until it came on Sci-Fi.

Is that Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) in the background before the sex change (or maybe after)?

Problem is between the bad stories last year and the constant tweaking of the schedule they lost their audience.

CBS does the same thing to "King of Queens". One week it's on, then it's on Monday, then it's not on at all, then it's a rerun, then it's on an hour earlier.

With a DVR it's hard to keep up and they wonder why they lose audience.

Or maybe Kevin James is asking for too much money and they want to knock the show off the air.
