(Actually, yes. When I was nine. There was also some missing time. Sometimes I stare at the night sky and say quietly "Take me home!" But then I'm still here. Oh, Well.)

Approximately 50 miles east of Houston about 25 years ago a woman, her daughter and grandson encountered a "flying machine" of some sort with a very bright light that blistered the paint on their car. They had burns similar to radiation burns.
There were a lot of military helicopters reported in the area later (best I remember) but no explanation was ever made as to what damaged their car and caused their burns
