I wish I could help out with the cats but let me at least give you a congratulations for making it out of socialist hell.

LOL! It's not QUITE hell yet. But it's getting there.

Up until this last election, I've feel pretty happy about at least my own little northeastern corner...but even that is becoming...well, not compatible with me politically! I'm not sure exactly how much better it will be in Fort Collins, but hopefully there I won't have to be ashamed to state where I'm from.

Um...felt pretty happy, I mean.

My grammar goes south after 9 PM.

Heh. Miss Cat barfed on the move from the apartment to TheNewOldHouse and they're only 7 miles apart.

I'm away from home a lot so I can't take them, but good luck.

What part of Colorado are you going to?

Adopt a kitty ping.

Meant to ping you to this thread, BQ. I don't think you have enough spoiled rotten cats.

Recently I have had to take my deaf kitty Hopey the 30 miles to my Mom's house every weekend. She is about 12 and needed antibiotics so I had to take her and she gets sad when I leave her which at her age is not good. I have someone else drive and hold her on my lap. She has actually done very well. She cries some at first and then settles into my arms and seems to enjoy the sites. She has a special pillow and I take that and put it under her on my lap. It is amazing that a cat who has been as timid and sheltered as Hopey does as well as she does traveling and spending time at my Mom's. She likes my Mom who enjoys holding her and petting her. Hopey is a precious, pure white, delicate little kitty. She is so innocent and beautiful. It seems the most important and best thing for her is to close to her "mommy" who she trust so implicitly.

Have you got enough kitties, or do you have room for two more?

Thanks! That's another to add to my list of possibles. I've already found that most Super 8s allow pets, as do all Motel 6s.

God...I could never give away my cats...they are like kids to me......
THe first question I asked when i looked for my home when I moved from NY to FLorida...was...."DO they allow pets in here".

I hope you reconsider and keep them...poor things.

In my heart, there's always room for more kitties but with 44 of them already the poor ol' wallet's strained. LOL!
Also, being in TN. makes it a bit of a drive to RosieCotton's. :-)

Your cats are gorgeous, RosieCotton, and someone's bound to want them. Have you tried putting their pictures along with contact info at area veterinarians' clinics?
I hope they find homes with FReepers in your area......keep 'em in the "family" and all that. :-) Good luck in finding homes for those two beauties, and with your move to CO.

Not yet...I stopped in to do that a week or so ago and ended up almost in tears when I was askin' the lady at the desk if it was OK. She said it was fine, but I lost my nerve and left without finishing putting it up. It's a good idea. I think this weekend I'll work a little more on what I had printed out and try again.

44? Is that a typo?!

If anyone knows the name of the keeper of the Kitty Ping List, please ping them!

That would be Meek One... I'll ping him... those sure are pretty kitties...
