John Tesh to replace Rather as CBS top Anchor?

CBS may tap former Entertainment Tonight co-anchor, John Tesh to become successor to Dan Rather in the troubled network's attempt to regain lost viewers, many of whom are skeptical of the news organization and their ability to report with impartiality. Tesh's career includes six emmy awards and an Associated Press Award for investigative journalism.
This seems like an interesting attempt to attract more of the conservative leaning viewers who are turning to other sources like FoxNews.

Well, Tesh is a solid individual. It would be a great choice.

That is nice to hear now, but I still can't believe you dumped me at the end of 9th grade. ;>

Is either one of those guys vapid enough to replace Rather, 'The King of Shallow and Inane'?

He's a Christian, too. Could end up being the only one in the MSM.
That would be a daring move. Something would have to give his Christianity, or CBSnews' stance. Wonder which it would be?

You know, if I really wanted CBS to do well I'd tell them to throw John Stossel of ABC a healthy offer and make him anchor.
It's good to see them sinking though. Maybe they'll call in James Carvelle or Michael Moore to replace Ol' Dan. Those guys could really seal the coffin. :)

Cue theme song for NBA on NBC!
To: MrArbitrage
If this is true, CBS will truley have crossed the line into self-parody.
