We were all saddened on Saturday (5 June) by the passing of former President Ronald Reagan. Among his many skills and accomplishments, one of his nicknames was The Great Communicator. In honor of our 40th President, we present cats trying to imitate The Great Communicator.

Good morning. You're up early.
My cats all voted for Reagan back in the 80s.

Good morning to you!
Viking kitties rock. "Go ahead, make my day!"... heheheh, you just did with that pic. Sweet.
In dedication to Ronald Reagan - not sure if the man was a cat lover per se, but he sure had a wonderful sense of humour, and would appreciate this memorial edition. Cheers for posting it.

Thanks Petroni. Always look forward to Mondays and news of the kitties!

A pattern emerges: all tyrants hated cats and all good government leaders loved them. Examples of this are Hitler and Napolean; both feared cats.It isn't an accurate gauge though, didn't Clinton have a cat in the White House?
(Thank you for the link.)

The only reason Clinton had a cat in the White House is because back when they lived in Arkansas, Chelsea had a dog that died, and she didn't feel ready for another dog so soon after her old one died, so she decided to get a cat instead. Socks was Chelsea's idea, not Bill's. Later on, Bill and Hillary gave the cat away to Bill's secretary. I have a feeling Beelzebubba is no cat lover!

Finding out that someone you know hates cats, is like finding out what they are like when they get good and drunk.
It tells you a LOT about them.
Can't say that I'm a cat lover, but I do respect them...

My WIFE has two dogs and a cat.
I seem to own only clean up duty. At least she leaves my computer alone.

I like cats and I am the same drunk as sober. I prefer dogs though.
