The number of Border Patrol encounters with illegal aliens in Texas continued to plunge in February, thanks to the effectiveness of Republican Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star. Meanwhile, encounters spiked again in California and Arizona, where Democrat governors are in charge, as illegal aliens increasingly turned their focus to more welcoming borders.

Through Operation Lone Star, Gov. Abbott has installed wire fencing at the border, deployed floating border barriers and called out the Texas National Guard to deter illegal immigration. And his efforts have been successful.

Through the first five months of Fiscal Year 2024 (Oct.-Feb.), the number of encounters of illegal aliens between ports of entry in Texas have declined 28% (from 560,920 to 406,458) compared to the same period a year ago. Four of the state’s five Border Patrol sectors recorded steep declines: El Paso (-47%), Big Bend (-65%), Laredo (-38%) and Rio Grande Valley (23%).

In the fifth sector, Del Rio, encounters were down a more modest six percent for the first five months of the fiscal year. But border security has improved significantly in recent months. …

If the Current Governor of Arizona had not successfully stolen her office in 2022 it would be Arizona that the invasion would be avoiding.

Saw a video of what I assume to be a ‘coyote’ cutting thru the razor wire and thought “If that guy’s head exploded just now there would be zero attempts”.

The military should cycle their sniper candidates thru the Southern border in 4-6 week cycles. Many targets of opportunity, extra points for ‘coyotes’.

And so the Battle of Eagle Pass is going well.

What will be interesting is what the cartels will do if Arizona does the same thing.

That would leave New Mexico and California with open borders.

When the cartels try and push the illegals through west of Ft. Bliss they are gonna see a whole LOT of nothing to get across and a very few ways to do it.

So, California.

They just luuuuv themselves some illegal aliens and if a major crossing areia is left open for the cartels to push all the wets through a very few spots, there is going to be trouble on the US side.

In addition, only Sinaloa and some CJNO will be getting the action, both in wets and drugs.

THAT is not going to go well with the other cartels and then we see a lateral war along the length of the border as the cartels grab territory or try to push through opposing forces on the US side... or each other.

.

And so the Battle of Eagle Pass is going well.

If we had a good president there would be nightly carpet bombing of the Eagle Pass road construction.
