You couldn’t be more correct. For some, it shows the other candidates are not good enough, or that Trump is that good. But for me is displays the lack of connection with the voters of the US. This let’s all get along attitude the DNC has been pushing for years is a closer image of the GOP that the voters have grown complecent with. So while the GOP panel of wannabes talk on the tube blaming Trump for everything from 1960 on, they are not good enough to polarize a base but are actively promoting the DNC alternative giving them free advertising.
Thus while they unimpress the voters, the do nothing they can prove they can actually do so what good are they? Trump has done, but his own side cannot seem to accept success. So they commit political suicide making a concerted effort to drag Trump down with them.
If Haley gets hammer today, she will most likely go with another small party dragging whoever is stupid enough to support her instead of promoting Trump. And that’s the GOP in a nutshell. Stupid and self destructive.
The liberals have been trying to get Trump for over 10 years now. And they have enlisted many to help. Too bad the GOP is one of them.
