We need to quit blaming the Democrats for the Outrageous Border Crisis. The Republicans have done just as much for the illegal aliens with our tax dollars.
Where I live they just came out with 2024 initiatives in Sangamon County Illinois which is 99 percent Republican.

RACIAL INEQUITY AND INEQUALITY Racial inequities and inequalities negatively impact the health of minoritized community members. Equality – providing everyone the same thing – is often confused with equity, which refers to providing people what they need when they need it in order to achieve an outcome. As previously noted, the location of one’s community has a profound impact on health outcomes. Through laws, policies and practices, both current and historical, black and brown communities are more likely to have underfunded public schools, fewer opportunities for stable employment, inadequate family incomes and diminished community safety. Within the U.S. context, racial segregation is high and communities of color are congregated in zip codes with lower life expectancy, income and resources. This segregation is evident locally as well, as each county where Memorial Health hospitals are located sees disparities in health outcomes and income across racial lines. Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for Returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Not a dime’s worth of difference in Springfield, Illinois it seems.
But understand this those GOP governors putting their troops on a 3/4 mile stretch of border in Texas will not close the entire border.
All the economic development new stuff being built by all GOP governors needs bodies to work in them sometimes higher tech sometimes lower tech I guess.
Even Greg Abbott touting new stuff coming to Texas does he get a cut?
I think we’re being scammed a bit.
people think economic development is SO important, but it actually destroys most areas that i’ve witnessed. Gone are the humble, rural beginnings. Along with the ‘economic development’, in comes rampant crime, carpetbaggers, liberals, overcrowding, section 8, urban decay... but hey, we got some strip malls and a new fast food restaurant! And we got some extra tax revenue! (that won’t be enough to cover for all the problems you just brought in!)
All those NGO are making fortunes facilitating the invasion. Back in the day collaborators use to be hanged.
And they’re using OUR tax dollars to do it!
It’s Springfield. Hopefully Abbot will send them 40 or so bus loads now. Let them choke on it.
